very vicky
John and Jana say: We'd love to tell you that this is the only surviving chapter of an old Very Vicky serial and the other parts were destroyed by the BBC during the war effort, when they had very special printed paper needs in their fight against the Jerries . . . but actually this is the only chapter in existence. Note Brooksie, obviously a riff on silent film star Louise Brooks, who was talented and crazy. We were much more fascinated by the later Louise Brooks, invalid crazy old lady in Rochester, NY, more than the younger version who was the fashion hero of every Goth girl with a sense of film history and we had much  more planned for this character that never saw the light of day. The story originally appeared in Negative Burn #26.
