John and Jana say:  We always thought this was damn funny. At the time, superhero comic books were marching onward with that idea that they weren't just for kids anymore and that everything had to be dark and brooding like Frank Miller. No wonder most of the independent comics that were getting attention at the time were largely humor-oriented. What a grim time to read comic books - some people were desperate for mirth.
